Article One of the United States Constitution
created and, to this day, governs the Legislative
Branch. Some scholars have argued that Congress
is mentioned first because the United States
was founded on the principle of legislative
supremacy in the interest of The People. While
time has settled this question with the school
book answer that the three branches of government
are co-equal, there is a strong case to be made
that Congress believes itself to be "more
equal" than the others.
The experts of Flanagan
Consulting LLC understand, and help our
clients to fully appreciate and use to their advantage,
that the 535 men and women who make law may
well be right, civics texts notwithstanding.
The power of the purse is supreme in Washington
and the Constitution put that power solely in
the hands of the Legislative Branch.
Led by a former Member of Congress, Flanagan
Consulting LLC is expert in both the
operations, calculations, motivations, and gyrations
of the Legislative Branch and in counseling
clients on how to put that often esoteric and
counterintuitive knowledge to work for them.
